We Miss You Vernon

The world lost an amazing man last month. The Tahoe wedding family lost a phenomenal photographer last month. There aren't enough positive things to say about Vernon Wiley. He was so fun to be around even when the weddings were intense (actually he was funniest then). He was passionate about his work, whether it was a wedding or a creative mountain shot. But when I asked him last year what he was most grateful for, he told me his son and wife. That is a good man with priorities in the right places. We will miss his smiling face, sense of humor, and gorgeous images. Here are a few of my favorite Vernon images from Heavenly and Kirkwood.

This one helps me smile through the sadness. A legend.

Rest in Peace Vernon. We miss you dearly.

The Wedding Weekend

One of the great things about Lake Tahoe is that there are so many activities for your guests to do when they are not attending the wedding. They can go mountain biking, boating, hiking, or gambling to name a few. New this summer they can go on an Epic Discovery at the top of Heavenly Mountain Resort.

Guests can take the scenic Gondola ride up from the Heavenly Village to the Observation Deck at 9,123 feet and take in the amazing views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains.
